SISAIROSP spells the reversal of Psoriasis

SISAIROSP is research, clinically tried and tested product for effective treatment of Psoriasis, Eczema, Dermatitis, Seborhoeic Dermatitis in technical collaboration with JNTBGRI (Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden & Research Institute formerly known as TBGRI) Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala - India. JNTBGRI (www.jntbgri.in) is a kerala state government research organization run under CSIR, New Delhi. JNTBGRI is more than 40 years old institute, spread in about 300 acres of land having more than 2000 plant species and is not only premier R & D centre of India but of Asia.

SISAIROSP is a ayurvedic oil formulated from the oil soluble bioactive extracts from Wrightia Tinctoria, Hemidesmus Indicus, Azadirachta Indica that have individually collectively anti-inflammatory and healing properties. SISAIROSP normalizes epidermal turnover and reduces itching & scaling. SISAIROSP is safe and free from any kind of side effects. It is the perfect solution to fight with the PSORIASIS. Though Psoriasis till now is incurable, but use of SISAIROSP controls effectively and chances of relapses are very less with continuous application as per clinical trials.

SISAIROSP is FDA approved and manufacture at GMP certified our own manufacturing facility.We do observe WHO guidelines 1991 for the manufacturing of herbal products. It is suitable for neonates, infants, children and during pregnancy. It can be applied externally in any part of the body including scalp.

Action

Tryptanthrin, an active constituent in Wrightia Tinctoria has anti psoriatic property through its immunomodulatory effect by Lypoxegenase inhibition mechanism.

The optimum concentration of the traditionally used Wrightia Tinctoria coupled with Hemidesmus indicus provides anti inflammatory, astringent and anti infective activity. The free radical scavenging activity of Hemidesmus indicus reduces Parakeratosis, Hyperkearatosis and Hyperplasia in psoriasis. Anti bacterial and antifungal activity of Azadirachta indica prevents itching and secondary infections in psoriasis.

The trinity of choice herbs collectively improves PASI index, PGA and DLQI in psoriasis by effectively tackling itching, inflamed patches, scaling, raised bumps, pustules, lesions, exfoliation and normalizing epidermal turn over and the skin texture.

Application

SISAIROSP oil has to be gently applied on the affected parts of the body once daily in morning hours and exposed to sun light for 15-20 mins. In case sunlight exposure is not possible, one has to leave it little longer on the body to get the oil absorbed in the skin. Wash off in lukewarm water using bengal gram powder (Besan) or any other mild natural soap. Do not use harsh synthetic soap or shampoo. In severe case one can apply it twice a day as well or leave it for entire day or night if it is comfortable to them.

Duration

Use SISAIROSP oil for at least Six to Eight weeks CONTINUOUSLY and repeat for another period if necessary. To be applied on weekly basis after the condition is improved to prevent recurrence.

Diet

High protein vegetarian diet like pulses, peas is recommended. Excess spices, bitter and soar substances should be avoided.

While you are using it

1. Maintain good general health to reduce the risk of flare-ups.

3. Eat well balance diet and avoid stress.
4. Never neglect any infection treat them promptly.
5. Maintain good skin hygiene & clean skin surrounding to prevent secondary infection.
6. Avoid harsh scratching it may cause new outbreak.
7. Do not stop using product in case of aggravation during first two to three weeks.
8. Do not use harsh / synthetic soap instead use mild natural soap.

OBJECTIVE : To determine the efficacy of SISAIROSP Oil applied externally for Psoriasis

METHODOLOGY Twenty persons with symptoms of Psoriasis were selected for clinical study irrespective of age, sex, chronicity, presentation, food habits etc. Group comprising of Psoriatic patients are shown in Table 1. After the clinical examination and laboratory investigations, patients were advised to apply the oil twice daily over the affected area liberally after washing without soap.

They were adised exposure to the early morning sun for 10-15 minutes, after which the remaining oil is wiped out with dry towel. Duration of the treatment period was 90 days and every 15 days they were examined. During the course of treatment and follow-up, they were advise-d not to take fish, curds, fried articles salty and spicy food and preferably vegetarian diet, rich in protein

RESULTS : Clinical improvement i.e. disappearance of lesions, reduction in surface area of skin involved, reduction in itching and scaling was evaluated after the 15th, 30th, 60th and 90th day of application. Total disappearance of lesions number-wise and percentage-wise is given in Table No. II.

FOLLOW UP : Those who got symptomatic relief were advised to report for follow up once in two months for a year. Out of the 16 cases, 2 person did not report for the follow up from the 2nci visit onwards_ Rest of the patients attended the complete follow-up schedule. No relapse was noticed till 2r'd visit, i.e. 4 months. 3 cases showed mild relapse of lesions at the 3rd visit which was during winter. They became symptomatic with the continuation of treatment withinl5-20 days. Subsequently there was no relapse till the end of the follow up period.

CONCLUSION : External application of SISAIROSP oil is a promising medicine for the control of psoriasis. In the case of psoriasis whether it acts as a catalyst to the inhibiting factors of cell cycle or by inhibiting the stimulating factors, the epidermal turnover is normalized.

Remarkably, there were no adverse reaction in any of the persons treated.
